13: This is tough because I have seriously fallen out of love with seeing live shows due to most bands/artists I love no longer being active. That being said, I’d love to see Metric, St. Vincent, Dum Dum Girls, Veronica Falls.
If we’re talking fantasy live shows, I would have loved to have seen the original Throwing Muses lineup, Blondie in their CBGB’s heyday, Nina Simone before she passed away, Aretha Franklin at the height of her popularity, Madonna for her Blonde Ambition tour, Sparks back in the Angst In My Pants era, Helium circa The Dirt of Luck, Lil’ Kim circa Hardcore, Au Pairs, X-Ray Spex, Elastica and I still wish I hadn’t had a horrible stomach flu when The Breeders in their Pod era incarnation played at CBGB’s when I was in college only 30 minutes away.
